How deep should pre-insulated PEX pipe be buried?
Eighteen to 24 inches is fine in most cases. Go deeper if PerformaFlex XT is going to be driven over. If buried three feet or more XT does not need to be ran through another larger PVC unless the traffic will be very heavy. In that case, the additional protection is advised.
